Ian specialises in corporate secretarial services and compliance and has served a number of large client groups in those areas. He has acted as director and secretary of the Australian subsidiaries of a number of overseas public companies. He is responsible for the quality management policies and procedures of the firm and for assuring compliance with regulatory accounting and auditing standards.

Ian has served, and continues to serve, as company secretary for Australian publicly listed companies.

Ian acted as Chairman of the Peer Review Committee for Polaris International for some years and for 15 years served on the Polaris International Regional Practice Inspection Committee. He conducted many quality reviews of affiliated firms in Australia and the Asia/Pacific region. He also acted for a period as an accredited quality reviewer for the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.
